Demo (Christmas Special)

Steps:
1. Download.
2. Unzip.
3. Run spv_xmas.exe.
4. Enjoy & think how to get into Sugarcube Corner.

  4. i played the game, it was great.i think my computer messed up the color by changing it green for some reason. but the thing i am looking forward to in this game is gore and of course it just being scary. i am hopeing it to be a game were it scares the hell out of me am i don't so much as look at my laptop for a day.

  7. dude i loved the story and i am stoked that the game is out even if its a demo. for some reason when i play it i get a gray box where i should see pinkie. i thought id let you know in case something was up with programing or what ever.(maybe im just impatient and didnt wait for it to load fully)

  15. Thank you for combining my two favorite things. I love Silent Hill and have been a big fan since the first one came out. I have loved ponies since they came out to. I am happy to see this and I must say you are a genius for putting this together. I just want to say thank you for all the time and effort that is being put into this.   22. Decent game. I have some opinions as a player/consumer that you may or may not find useful but its long so i won't put it here. Either way, i would only give this game around a 6/10. It's a neat idea but still has many issues in the gameplay and story. This may just be because it's still in an early stage, but if things are improved more, then this game has lots of potential.

  27. I'm having what seems to be a common problem: I run the game and it crashes with a error report of how I don't have python32.dll. Considering .dlls are extensions to the program, possibly we need to install Python to get this thing working? Did you code it so it relies on some of Pythons files? Or is it a startup error reading the computers specs? I don't know, but a bugfix in words or an update would be great.

    1. Ok, replying to myself. Apparently I have OpenGL support. Got it to run, and, holy crap, this isn't one of those horror games with gore to make you puke. This is one of the GOOD horror games with psychological horror. I can't wait to see this finished.

    1. Uh.... Open the spv_xmas_.exe it is in the very first folder of the Demo file, just scroll down. You shouldn't have to go into any other files any deeper. Those are all data and script files and messing with those will severly screw up your game. I mean, not to sound like a jerk, but come on... I'm not even a programmer and I can figure this out easily. You always run the .exe file to run an application, just saying... :/

  31. I don't like how the view is above Pinkie. I find it a bit hard to use especially when running from the groaners I will turn away and the camera is inside a building so I can't see where I'm running. I love how you made the characters! Its super awesome. So far I would give it a 7/10

  32. If someone got trouble with some withe square blocking pinkie pie just press "H", and to fix this, just download both files (With and without OpenGL) and put them on the same folder, it worked for my net book ^_^

  33. Looking good! I will be one to state yet again a great thanks for combining SH with ponies. Much potential! Will add my own pointers here like a good tester ^_^ A mouse controlled camera would be much better. I know. It's not retro but its far less frustrating by letting you snap the camera out from being stuck inside a wall so you won't run head first into a monster. Also an automatic bucking reaction to being bitten would be great. It would enhance the experience that Pinkie's been hurt and it would also push away and stun the monster to avoid getting locked into place to die. Could have it be the more she gets hurt the less she can push and stun monsters. My own wish (for Silent Hill even) is 'visually' broken door handles so you don't have to go trying 40 doors to find the right one :P We're rooting for ya! Keep at it! Really wish I could help more than this.
